Whilst it is said that v1.02 patch can watch recorded games from 1.00 or 1.01, can those earlier versions watch games that are played with the 1.02 patch?
Under the Recorded Games download page, there are signs of people who saw the entire game with 'idle' villagers and a flat timeline when that wasn't the case.
Anyone care to comment?

The plot thickens.
I have no idea actually, I haven't tested it out. But you've piqued my curiosity.

I gave a 1.02 recorded game to a friend before that has version 1.00 installed. He said that the recorded game "started" and then disconnected from the internet because he had a job. Tomorrow he will tell me if it finally worked or not.

GUNS_N_ROSES...the patching system is designed to work the other way around. As in, if you are on 1.02, you should be able to play 1.01 games. Not if you are on the original version that you can play a patched one...
