One Idea I came across is to let the priest be able to summon animals instead of the pharoah by doing this the pharoah can fulfill his economic role in empowering and not be a vulnerable target to attack.

-The Pharoah should also be able to convert animals.
-The converted animals should not be seen as enemy units by the player. Kinda like a spy in the woods.

u know what, I dont think Set needs much improvements. He is great in this way already. If ppl play set more and more, the more he will get played. I played for a while, he is abit difficult to play but not weak.

My suggestion is ES should add some economic bonus to him. Thats pretty much all.

fish, he has an economic bonus, free animals. This can save alot of gold from farms without the risk of hunting far away. ALthough you'll need monuments.

I say just improve the bonuses he has a little bit. He doesn't seem to be that underpowered to me.

All I really want for Set is two things:
  • Improve Feral
  • -Feral at Temple
  • -Increase convert speed with Feral
  • Makes animals invisible to enemy until they attack(5 crocs moving as one towards your base is pretty suspicious)

    Yes, that IS great. I once made a post about that, and I found out that farming can NEVER catch up hunting, though hunting runs out of animals. The main problem is you dont want that much micro going on. It is great but rather that a classical rush, FH, or animal ruch would be more effective.

    Make Priests convert animals alot faster
    Make converted animals look like Gia, not change color

    having their animals invisible to the player isn't very fair...

    i think his slingers and cas are a good enough bonus. ive had armies of 30+ slingers in classical, and they dont cost food which you need for heroic.

    a nice gp strat is to use vision on his town when you have a fairly good army, then use shifting sands and knock out his gold and/or wood. thats won the game for me many times.
