Wadjet is right. IMO Bast needs beefed a little as they don't have anything really over Anubis or Ptah. Their farming bonus doesn't help that much, their wood cutting bonus is also a joke because unless your going mass slingers/chariot archers, You don't need much wood as egyptains. Also their Eclipse is a nice godpower if you mass ALOT of myth units which isn't likely. The preventing godpower effect if the only decent thing but predicting when they will cast a godpower is VERY difficult. Sphinxs are nice but they need too much upgrades to be effective.

Anubites aren't weak but everyone expects them to masscre like 10 normal units like in The Mummy. Or they make a bunch of them in a later age and they get dominated.

I don't know, any time I play as Egypt my sphinxes (sphinxi?) usually last a LOT longer than anubites or wadjets. Plus, they are just about free because you have unlimited supply of food in farms and fish. I just use my pharoah for empowering my largest monument and the favor just rolls in. You only need about 2-3 sphinxes to compliment your army, and if you have priests they might live to see another battle. I only wish that the Greeks had a portable healing unit, but then it would be overpowered...
