It was a 3v3 on Oasis between teams of skilled players, and it was an awesome game, almost an hour long. There was good raiding, timely and spectacular use of god powers, big armies, lots of myth units, use of Set's animals, constant fighting for possession of settlements, multiple fronts of battle, near-constant combat, good management of counter-units, and players coming back from almost certain destruction.
There were two Egypt players, one Set and one Isis. Both of them reached Mythic.
Neither one built a single Migdol.
The Norse players had Longhouses and Hill Forts all over creation, yet neither Egyptian built a single chariot or camel ... just hordes of barracks units, temple units, and seige.
Is this unusual, or is it a growing trend? Did the 1.03 upgrade cost increase hurt the Migdol units so much? Is there nothing they can do that slings, spears, and maybe axes can't do?
Curious,
