- 10% of all resources required to produce a unit are added on to the player's score (example: a Jarl costs 50 food and 80 gold, or 130 resources, so the player will gain 13 points).
- Similarly, 10% of all resources required to produce a unit are subtracted from the player's score when the unit is lost.
- EXCEPTION: for myth units, these values are doubled, or in essence, a 20% increment is applied (example: a Centaur costs 200 wood and 15 favor, or 215 resources; the player gains 43 points from creating it)
- 10% of all resources required to construct a building are added on to the player's score (example: a Longhouse costs 110 wood, so the player will gain 11 points).
- Similarly, 10% of all resources required to construct a building are subtracted from the player's score when it is razed.
- EXCEPTION: Town Centers seem to follow different rules:
1) Constructing a Town Center on any one Settlement results in a gain of 100 points.
2) Losing a Town Center does not result in any point deduction.
3) Losing a Town Center and rebuilding one on the same Settlement does not gain back 100 points. In essence, this means that you are awarded 100 points for every Settlement that you manage to capture throughout the course of the game.
- 10% of all resources required to research a technology are added on to the player's score (example: Husbandry costs 100 wood and 50 gold, or 150 resources, so the player gains 15 points)
- 10% of the value of any unit killed or building destroyed in resources is added to your point total (example: killing a villager gets you 5 points, destroying a Stable gets you 10 points). Town Centers are not exempt from this rule; razing one gets you 60 points (or 40 if it's Egyptian). I'm not sure if you get double from killing a myth unit, I'll have to check.
- 10% of all resources gathered throughout the course of the game is added to your score. This is cumulative; reducing your stockpile will not reduce your score.
- EXCEPTION: gathered favor has a point value of 100%. Spent favor, however, has a point value of 10% as mentioned above.
- Any god bonuses (such as Thor's cheaper Dwarves, Poseidon's cheaper Stables and cavalry, Isis's techs) follow the 10% rule according to their own cost, not the standardized one. That is to say, making a Poseidon Stable will get you 7.5 rounded down to 7 points
- As far as killing a unit such as a Thor Dwarf or Poseidon Hippikon, I'm not sure as to the exact point value you would get by doing so.
- Exploration seems to not have any effect on scoring.

1 Ox Cart = 50 food, 50 wood = 10 points
(Alternate for Loki: 1 Ox Cart = 25 food, 25 wood = 5 points)
1 Ulfsark = 50 food, 30 gold = 8 points
1 Town Center = 100 points
4 Sentry Towers = 200 wood, 100 gold each = 120 points
Stockpile = 250 food, 200 wood, 100 gold = 55 points
3 Villagers = 50 food each = 15 points
1 Kataskopos = technically 75 food = rounds down to 7 points
1 Town Center = 100 points
4 Sentry Towers = 200 wood, 100 gold each = 120 points
