I would like to see sirens in Age of Mythology. They would be like monks of the see who can convert and/or damage ships and other units. Thy would be a Greek-only unit, have weak hit points, moderate speed, no direct attack, and moderate cost.
The damage thing would work just like converting, but would damage the enemy units more and more as they sing their song (sirens song songs to drive sailors mad). This is just an idea, so don't bash me too hard!

Good idea (though I generally don't like "conversion units" like monks).

Yeah, and maybe in the single player campaign they could have you be on Odysseus's ship and almost die because of it or something. They could also have the smashing rocks or whatever.

Yes, that would be an awesome idea. Maybe an editor only unit? Hope Greg Street stops by.

Great idea. They should look like mermen/maids since that's what sirens are.
Also, does anyone know what sea monster this is supposed to represent?
Sirens would be pretty cool. That would be a nice new addition to the environment, a unit that could swim in the water without boat help.
