the first time u play someone rated higher than you or someone in a higher skill rating, its hard to play well because your probably very nervous. Same thing happened with me....first i was like HOLY CRAP IM PLAYING A 1650 PLAYER....then i got my rating up to 1675...O MY GOSH A 1700 PLAYER.....now that im around 1730, i dont play as well against say, 1750+ players. But once i get up there it will be a higher skill level to be scared of. On the other hand, when i play a 1700 player now, i go into the game like its going to be a breeze and i do everything right. So its all mind games. The only difference is a few points. A 1750 player good be on a smurf at 1700 and i guarentee id play him better if he was on his 1700 account.

thats a rated game (a quick setup game) ... it'll match you up with someone close to your same rating ... you can see your rating in the top left-hand corner when you logon to ESO, and it'll tell you his rating when the game is loading up.

yeah Aom is Psychological.
I always get nervous when playing 1900's, though being nervous is extremely irrational, considering it's just a stupid game. And the feeling of being judged by someone freaks me out :/
