I recall reading somewhere,(i have a bad memory), that AOM will be a quicker game:spanning 1 hour. Thats just fine with me for i sometimes don't have time to play a 2 hour game, and if i save and quit i usually don't have the desire to pick up where i left off. But how are they going about doing that. All i can think of is easier rushing or weaker defences, and with this god-power thing you can really take someone out quick. But i also really love the 2-3 hour games where its late imperial, everyone is big and powerful, and its the best mind that wins,which means i lose first. But those games are the most exciting to me, and i don't want to lose that expierence. My brother will always build these massive defences lines with siege and stuff, and it would take a while to take it down, but it would be fun! I fear that this won't be the same anymore. The abilities for people climbing walls/cliffs/whatever, defence is impossible, and those anubite things can jump over anything. NOw i'm sure ES will play test everything and get the balance and gameplay good, but oh yea, they're aiming for shorter games too. Well, feel free to call me smart, stupid, pathetic, wierd, ect.
