People above 1800+ might pretend to be at the 1600-1700 level and you might lose.
However, they will soon enough have to play people at there own level on that account. ESO is erasing the bogus wins so this problem will fix itself.
Besides - If you trully are a 1750 player you should be able to make that up easily.
Let the smurfs get there bogus wins - They only get 3 accounts and the smurfing phase will then stop.

are you sure about this? If so, then yes, the smurfing will stop. Of course, thats the point. However if accounts are not limited, smurfing will not stop...

Yes... it will stop in time... the end of time!
Right now, I don't see what the ES is doing to stop smurfing. If they do something, it can be stopped, otherwise it will go on as long as AoM will be a popular game.

These are some of the reasons people smurf i think -
1) When they get to a high rating, they just can't stand to see themselves lose points
2) They are just the kind of person that KNOWS people hate this, so they make a new account just so they can go and tick people off. You'll find these people in every online multiplayer game. They enjoy the attention that it receives and they just like to make people upset. We probably could go into a psychological assesment about how they have no friends, no hobbies or talents, etc, etc. I think some people just get off on causing problems
