Now, I got another system and I connected the two systems using the second ethernet port in my Asus board ( I did not use a hub since I have just two systems, rather I used an Ethernet cross-over cable and connected the two systems directly). I set up a home network using Windows XP Home network wizard (Both computers run XP). I am able to share the Internet connection, share files etc.
Now, if I try to connect to ESO from my first computer, it doesn't connect. Also, if I try to host a Direct IP game, AOM detects (it shows up on top on the host screen) the IP address of the second Ethernet port (192.168...) which is a local IP address. AOM does not detect IP address from the other Ethernet port that connects to the Internet. I don't have any firewall running or I don't have the Windows XP Internet connection firewall enabled.
Is there anything that I have to do within AOM or in Windows XP to play online.
Thanks
