You would get to the skill level and rate your at now, it just would take a little longer and you rate wouldnt fuxuat as much.
Lets say a I get on a roll im hot and win a bunch of games, I get my rate say 100 points higher, but I know on an average day I dont play that good. Well the next time you play insead of losing 50-100 points you might only lose 25-50.
I guess im what im saying is your real rate would be more realistic. And that would work on all levels.
lets face it if someone gets on a roll and gets to a rate thats nice and high, they tend to go well next time I play I could lose that rate im so proud of. So what they do is just make another name and do it all over again.
I mean just take mokon for an example, he has 2 rates right? 1790 and 1780. But it looks to me like he doesnt play very much rated games Its been the same for a month. Why is that? well maybe he doesnt want to lose his nice rate. However he regularly gives advice to people in these fourms on how to improve and what to do to get your rate up.
Now you cant tell me that Mokon doesnt play rated games on a dif name. I can prove it. Why? well like alot of us we know how much the rating system fluxuats so we are carfull not to play on our best names. I could be possible that Mokon struggles in the low 1700s or high 1600s on a dif name.
Or Nrs Killer they say hes an 1800 player...but right now hes struggling in the 1600s on his new NoFx name. But I got to give him credit hes honest about it.
And thats not to put Mokon down, but lets not lie about how good we really are. My skill level evens out on the rate of my names im not hidding anything those are all my names.
But if the rating system didnt flux as much I might not have all those names.
