Yes, you can still lose points doing it.. let them do it if they want they are only ruining the fun for themselves.

yeah well i think that is absolutely unfair, however i also think a lot of the matches are unfair also...if there is a 1620 matched with a 1700+ (this happened yesturday) this is totally unfair, and the 1620 in my mind has the right to alt4 before it starts...sometimes its needed...HOWEVER as the one guys before me said, people are doing it to avoid playing norse on water maps...that is ludacris, and must come to an end...i think es needs to make matching better, if possible...instead of finding bazarre matches, just simply say no match found if there is nobody within like 30 points...even 30 is a lot sometimes...well whatever, yall get my drift...any of you 1750+ loki players? later-peazz

Here is a solution: don't show the map/god or whatever until the game has loaded, then show it and if they drop then they lose points because the map has loaded...

well, it doesn't happen all that often... I've only had it done to me two or three times, it's really nothing to complain about. Though, there is a simple solution for it...
just don't show the map or civ your opponent is using. I think you should have to scout a bit before you can know what map it is... currently though, the only two maps you'll confuse are savannah and watering hole, and even then you'll find out which one it is after a minute of gameplay.

Well, I wouldn't want to see this go away. I do agree it's lame, but it's the only way to avoid playing cheaters. If I see someone I know will drop trick me come up, what's the point in playing at all? If I win, I lose points anyway. It's a bit worse when people use it to pick their games and waste other people's time, though. I can easily someone get frustrated by the Nth Set player in a row, or by the fact that they always lose to Norse on water maps, since Norse are overpowered there.
