I'm confused. The title makes it sound like you are annoyed with people who resign early. But this looks like a long bash on people who actually make you earn your victory, and don't just resign the moment things look bad? If I resigned every time some arrogant dork said "GG" before I was even fully defeated and then I made a comeback and won, I'd have lost many more games than I have.

If he's totally defeated and you can't spare the 500 gold to get omniscience to kill him.... then he's a craftier player than you. LOL

Not resigning when things start going badly has won me a ton of games. I'm only like 1650, but I think ease of resignation separates the newbies from the better players.

Well that raises another question. If Svenmonkey is only in the 1650's, but sticks with the games for their complete duration and some other players who may have a higher rating, but may resign more often when things look bad, could they be higher because they are playing more games? Another words (and I'm dating myself), Babe Ruth was the homerun king for awhile, but he also had one of the highest strike out records. If you drop more often, you can get in more games and maybe paired against a weaker opponent. Does that make you a better player?
