The sentence is copied from "The Titan Overview" on heavengames main page.

"One of the biggest issues in Age of Mythology was an apparent imbalance in the game; for a long period of time one god reigned supreme: Ra, Loki, Set, they all were highly disliked by the vast majority of online gamers"

Why is it so??

they were under or over powered.

Each one had a bit of time when all the higher-level players were playing them and the god seemed to be overpowered. Then they all got decrepified by the following patches.
