You should save bolt to do damage to the titan. If you want to use it early, then I'd say their oracle or free MU upon getting to classic

thx but lets say i dont wanna hold on to it for titan cuz there is a good chance there wont even be a titan, what would be the best unit to use it on. using it on oracle would seem a waste cuz they have 3(dont they??) and i wouldnt use it on a FREE myth unit, cuz it wouldnt hurt them ne. u get my point. i am looking for something to hurt them economically or militarilly.

yea but then he can jus make another but i guess it would hurt him cuz he would have to use resources to make the unit then use more resources ot make the hero. but what r the chances of seeing a hero early on

hasn't the hero oracle got ability to attack myth units?

... Sure bolt an oracle, an Atlantean will have two more roaming around the map while you waste your GP.

Atlanteans start with three oracles.

There's really nothing to bolt early in the game against the Atlanteans, thats why you should save it to do damage to the titan

But he will have wasted resources on a hero upgrade. It's probably better to hold it till later though.

Did anyone try to bolt a titan? How much damage does it do? Sure hope it doesn't kill it off right away, that would be horrible.

If it kills the 'Hog (nidhog) it does more than 1325.

stupid question: would it be worth it to bolt a villager, given their costs and training time?

Umm, no it doesn't. You need to think about the difference in hack armour's. Nidhogg has only 40% hack armor compared to a titans 89%. So to kill a nidhogg, bolt only needs to be equivalent to 3000 raw damage. Therefore take away the nidhogg armor and 3000 works out to be 1800 true damage which would kill a nidhogg instantly.

Now if you use the same figure on a titan then bolt would only do 330 damage to a titan.

A quick calculation shows that bolts true damage is about 12,050!!!

I reckon it could be very worth it. Especially if you find one that has almost finished building a TC. You could then go over and destroy the almost built TC and your opponent would lose those resources as well.
