Well it's not much of a poll, favorite way based purely on how it's gained would have to be atlantean for their constant favor flow. If you want to take into account control over how much is gained and how fast then it'd probably be egyptian (good control, good max favor rate) or Zeus (fast favor, excellent control, higher max).

I definately like the greek method the most, but can be jealous of norse at times. I consider MU's to be a integral part of any army, and as such I need to be able to crank them out at a rate similar to other units. I thought only zeus could do this, but recently I've been playing hades and have had no problem spamming Minotaurs. For the other civs, MU's can be nothing but eye candy, they can't be core units.

I personally prefer the Norse, as their favor come in chunks (every time you attack you get a big boost), though it's not steady, you can obtain lots of favor in a very short amount of time. But I also like the Atlanteans for their consistent favor gain starting from the beginning of a game, but as most of you have already stated, TC's are not always easily obtainable.
