The sticky posts are very easy to ignore, which kind of defeats their purpose. Which is why, ideally, the forum needs a better way of making permanent information available without it being through forum posts, and a better way of displaying current announcements.
I suppose that will have to come when the new forum software eventually arrives.

i'm new here and i have'nt read any yet, topices look to boring. are they worth reading?
Retrieving information isn't too bad on Heaven's forums, as long as you know the author's name or if the author expressed his topic in their post title. Problem is trying to remember the nicks people use, and that thread titles do not always describe their contents properly. Threads should always include their subject in the title.
Permanent information on recurring or important game facet= good thing, especially for new people. Isn't that one of the key features of a good fan site?

I don't think I've ever read anything more than the first few posts in a sticky. Ideally, stickies would be replaced by actual web pages rather than standard forum threads, which is what I think TheShadowDawn means too.
