Features:
Left Joystick-The left joystick would be used as the regular cursor to move around the map.
Left Trigger-Once unit selected, the left trigger would be used to task your units to do other things besides attack (ex. pick up relics, move to location, build, farm, mine, etc.) Some of these would go for Ulfsarks too (once the building is chosen by the left joystick, which is the regular cursor once again)
Right Trigger-Attack, or hunt
DPad-For example, you want a hoplite to guard over a hero. Press up on your dpad, and it will show advanced behavior settings. Use the dpad to configure which one you want, then hit up to set it, and use the regular cursor to go over the hero, then pull the left trigger
Black Button-Zoom in
White Button-Zoom out
Y button-By using the regular cursor, you can press and hold the Y button to drag a box to select units
B button-After you select the group of units you want as an army, simply press the B button instead of clicking on the military banners. It would be easier to form a military group easier. So lets say you have 3 military or villager groups, w/e you have in them. Hit the B button (when you dont have anything selected of course) and you can toggle through the 3 banners using the d pad (left and right) then hit the B button again to select the one you chose
A button-Cast god power. Once again, you must toggle through which ones, then hit the A button again
X button-Delete the selected units or buildings
Start-Pause menu
Back-Toggle through other menus, like chat or diplomacy, then hit Back again to select those. (Let's say you want to be enemy with player 2. While in the menu, use the regular cursor to go over the enemy button, and hit the A button, which would be used for things like this all the time)
Right Joystick-Rotate the camera veiw
(While with the regular cursor, lets say you want to build a hoplite at your barracks. You simply hit the A button once the barracks is under the cursor, and hit the A button to make a hoplite if you have enough resources. If you want to rally them to a cirtain spot, hit the rally button and hit A where you want to have it be done)
Something like that for the controls.
You wouldn't be able to make scenarios I don't think, however, you can somehow send your scenario to an archive of scenarios on the internet, for Xbox Live. If you have Xbox live, you can play multiplayer, have ratings and talk with other people with the headset. Also, you would be able to set your gaming settings like always, like deathmatch, or scenario, how many players, blah blah blah. You would have to type your screen name and password with simply selecting the letters from a template, like other console system games. And you would be able to somehow listen to your custom soundtrack while playing a game, though i wouldn't knw how. Probably set it in the pause menu.
So what do you think? Maybe if we talk about it enough, Microsoft and the makers of AOM will do this. It would sell alot of money. People who wouldn't have enough space on their comps for AOM would buy this for Xbox. it would also be the biggest hit for Xbox Live ever. I think its an absolute awsome idea.
Also for the expansion, it would be another game, and you would be able to play your original aom scenarios and that stuff on the expansion. So what do you guys think? Would it be a good idea or what?
