One of the biggest pain in the ass god powers can be Cease Fire... Nothing is as annoying as getting your bronze/flaming weapons/frost/ancestors etc getting 'cancelled' by this classical GP...

To prevent people from building hill forts and towers in your base, it is NOT possible to make arrow shooting buildings while this GP is 'working'...

BUT there is one thing that i have recently used for my advantage largely while playing Kronos!

While Cease Fire is taking place, you CAN time shift arrow shooting buildings to his base!! in the minute of time of CF, you can shift 5 towers or 2 Palaces right under his town centre... This way you can fight at one side of the TC with 5 towers/2 palaces on your side when CF is over (they wont have the 2 towers on their side, because you deconstructed them), with 2 palaces under your TC's nose, with siege/destroyers or fanatics coming out, you can forget your base, especially when you have Burning Pitch and your towers/palaces do x2 or whatever damage vs. buildings...

bottom line: Make the Cease Fire bastards pay for using this god power!!! as soon as this happens time shift all your arrow shooting buildings under his nose and move your military to them, after CF is over, you can shift even more buildings there, taking away a TC from your opponent...

since they used Cease Fire, they were already in some kind of trouble, so you shouldnt have a problem finishing them off!!

You sure you can timeshift 5 towers during that time? I'd have to see a rec of that to believe it, I didn't know Timeshift was *that* fast.

its just 550 hp per tower when unupgraded, you could upgrade immediately after, or during time shifting

It wouldn't be worth it, as each tower costs 300 resources to timeshift.

Oh yes, I forgot. I was thinking of Deathmatch, when they're FU.

But Chrono is right, 200w 100g is too much. I'd rather shift barracks near 'im.

I just checked, and seems i have been a little too optimistic... you can time shift 2.5 towers in 1 minute, or 1 palace...

i was in a team game with 2 Kronos' that why we had 5 towers=2 palaces shifted...

the cost shouldnt be too much of a problem, i doubt anyone would NOT want to build a Palace under the TC of your opponent, this way you dont waste the time walking there, building it etc, so you are gathering 1 extra minute, also you can only have a limited amount of Palaces so if there is one that isnt of any use anymore because you pushed further, it would be better to shift it ... It sure helped us previous time... The destroyers keep coming out while your regulager army fight his army, and the base is history :P

It's much more reasonable with 1 palace or 2.5 towers . That's still very strong, but I don't think it's stronger than a Norse plopping down 5 barrackses and then streaming units from them.

You would only cease vs Atlans if you were losing anyways. They have nothing to 'cancel out'. The only time I can think of Cease having a chance beig used is durring a Kronos rush, but then you wouldn't have the resources to spare to shift all those towers.
