Well, I see what you are saying by having others turning off footprints, but seriously think about this. This is about as reliable as asking everyone in the room to display their true systems specs so that you may weed out the slower computers.
I have a super fast pipe and machine so I always host the games. We play 4v4's all the time and as long as peeps aren't on 56k or using a pentium 133 with 48 mb of ram, the game runs great.
What is ESO going to do about the drop-tricking and sync errors? I still think the sync-errors are hax.
I have played almost 500 games of AOM at ESO and trust me, I can tell when someone syncs out the game on purpose.
I was playing a rated game, and when I rushed my opponent, he sync'd it out. I went back in and played a 1v1 Quick Start again and happen to get the same guy. He said, "don't rush". I rushed again, and then he sync'd it out.
What do you do when someone "drop tricks"? Is there a way to stop it, or do we just ALT F4 the game?
