Did you realize that atlantean villagers are especial?. I mean they dont look as stupid as all others civilian units. And im not talking just of aom.. In all rts games, villagers (citizens, workers, etc) are skinny, poor dressed, weak, and all they do in their lifetime is move from the resourses to drop sites... and lets not forget about the stupids sounds when selecting/moving.
Villagers sure are essential units.. so would it be that hard to give them a little dignity?
Thats why i think atties villies are really cool: they are nicely dressed, kinda strong sure...those guys even look handsome. And they are so independent... no need of drop sites make them not to be stupidly limited by any crap building. And they can even become heroes!. Ha and no mention the donkey they have. Atlantean villies can be considered light cavalary . So if i would have been in es staff... villies would have bonus against archers and cavalary too :P. Or even donkeys could carry explosive stuff and it can become kamikaze buildings razer...^^.
All im saying atlantean villagers are really interesting, because its something different to any others resourse gatherers ..not just in aom .
