I was playing ESO vanilla today, unrated 4 v 4. I was Set. I clicked to advance to Mythic, then noticed I hadn't cast Citadel yet. Needing the extra pop slots, I cast it on the TC researching the Mythic Age. Then later I noticed my resources suddenly spiked. I looked up at the age bar and noticed I was still in Heroic! Apparently using Citadel stops your age advancement.
Another bug I found was in pre-patch vanilla, against AI. I had a transport ship and shift-clicked on the water (river nile) so I'd avoid enemy towers. I then clicked on the eject button with shift. Suddenly my troops ended up on shore, and the transport was still in the middle of the water!
Two reasons why underlining sucks:
1. Italics look way better. 2. Click here.

The citadel gp probably deletes your old TC and replaces it with a citedal, instead of actually changing it - which is why your researching stopped.
I then clicked on the eject button with shift. Suddenly my troops ended up on shore, and the transport was still in the middle of the water!
Now THAT is interesting.
TheShædøwDåwn If you're like me, then it's possible you're a clone generated from my stolen DNA. I suggest you turn yourself in for destruction immediately.

Oh yes, the good old citadel bug, that ES didn't bother to fix. It was discoverd about 1½ year ago.

it's not actually a bug.
It is a whole new building. It also stops your laborers and all that too.
