Is there a way to get the maps larger when there are only 2 players playing multiplayer game in Age Of Mythology. The only options are normal and large, and the large is still just too small. Like in AOE/WarCraft3/EmpireEarth, there are multiple map sizes, like giant.
I know the map seize is generated on proportion on how many players there will be participating but why can’t you select giant maps on two player games as well, it’s just ridiculous.
So if there is a way so please tell me!! Thanks.

Three ways, none of which are very good.
1) Make your own map,
2) Get a bunch of friends to join up so you have a 6 v 6, then have all of them but you and your opponent resign
3) Add a bunch of easy cpu, set to Defender

Hmmm I guess I will go with option number one then.
Can you make your own randomly generated maps (which are just bigger)? if so what is the quickest way? Can you perhaps modify the existing ones? I have tried to make some sense out of the editor but the user interface is just too stupid (or then it’s me but that can’t be).
Thanks again!

You could look thru the Download section for large maps. I'm pretty sure choosing "Large" under map size increases the size of the map too.
