I've read a few posts about OOS and it seems most people are just saying it's just something wrong with ESO. Well, I've only had it happen to me twice (both on the same day) and both were suspicious. I guess i'm just wondering the likely hood of someone doing it on purpose or if i should look into possible connection problems on my end.
Anyways, on 2 different games yesterday (both were 3v3) we were just taking a definite lead by taking out the other teams armies and just starting to destroy their base (basically, in mind it happened just when they realized they would lose). Is this most likely someone purposely putting the game OOS or what?
thx in advance

No OOS is a bug that happens when one team's score is much higher then the others [/joke]

ESO did the right thing by halting the game when it desync's, Rome:TW Doesnt crash when it desync's, but that way you can get to diffrent outcomes of the game, so stoping the game when it OOS's wasnt a bad idea.

It can be caused by a hack. If it was in rating and the timing was very suspicious then read the sticked post by Supertroopers.
And Kaster, you might want to change your location...

A hack? You can do it by editing a file. A lot of mods can cause it too.

Yeah true, but the mods don't cause the game to OoS at your convenience.

Unfortunately, a hack is not required to cause a game to OoS, and a number of players have learned this.
There is a petition in General Discussions about this, if you’re tired of loosing to an OoS, sign up.
FAILURE is not an option, it comes bundled with the software. The graduate with a science degree asks, "Why does it work ?" The graduate with an engineering degree asks, "How does it work ?" The graduate with an accounting degree asks, "How much will it cost ?" The graduate with an arts degree asks, "Do you want fries with that ?"
