Yesterday I decided to try a boom with Isis. It went fairly well for awhile until my population is 123/126. I had 120 villagers! Should I just kill them when this happens or should I try and make them scout my opponet or forward build?
Another questiopn, How can i get good at macroing? I seem to get lost within the battles to pay attention to my economy.

120 villagers, that's quite a few. I thought they would max out. I know atlanteans only get 25 and I thought that egyptians have a max of 80. If so then you must have had quite a few caravans (plus fishing ships?) to get up to 120.
You simply made too many (not at all stating the obvious there) and you shouldn't make that many. Stop producing after you have about 80 in a 1v1 game, unless the opponent is still actively raiding your economy.
If you have that many villagers then you may want to check and see just what 40 villagers do to buildings. Unless your opponent is norse, then you can just mass buildings and then kill your villagers.

Your economy should pretty much run itself by the stage you have that many villagers, apart from wood cutters who you will occasionally have to move. Just check the idle villager button often while in battles.
You're probably more concerned about earlier game though. Then you need to check idle villagers very often. As for how many to put on each resource trial and error should get you a good instinct for resource balance. You can always use a build order if you want an easier approach though. Whenever you aren't fighting check to see if there are any economic upgrades you can afford.

Instead of killing off extra villies, use them to fight, expecially vs siege.
FAILURE is not an option, it comes bundled with the software. The graduate with a science degree asks, "Why does it work ?" The graduate with an engineering degree asks, "How does it work ?" The graduate with an accounting degree asks, "How much will it cost ?" The graduate with an arts degree asks, "Do you want fries with that ?" Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people.
