But, I have noticed that when I playtest scenarios as Mother Nature, there is another skin. Here is a picture:
Why would they create a custom skin for Mother Nature if you can’t even play with her except in the scenario editor? Seems like more work then necessary.

My guess would be that it's a leftover from the first beta. It matches the old Greek style from the first screenshots shown in 2001-2002. ES probably defaulted Mother Nature with Greek when still in production, but didn't touch it when they changed the Greek either because they forgot or they simply didn't think it was really noting.
By guess anyway.

Lol - I've been using mod UI's for so long that I couldn't figure out what all that stuff in the bottom center of the screen was.

That is the old uinversal skin before they did the others. I have seen it alot too in 2001/2002 screen shots.
