Hi, Kasshoku!
Unfortunately, Dax105 is right. I'm not sure if he knows this, but your friend, possessing a duplicate of a bought item that's copywrighted, is doing something illegal. Usually, computer games on CDs, I'm sure other things too, have copyrighted protection so that some or all access to the game is denied unless it is an original CD. I know for one if you burn a The Sims game CD, or in your friend's case, have a downloaded version, you cannot even install the game! Luckily, he got the chance to play Age of Mythology, but before we help him in anyway about the game or before he even plays again, I STRONGLY suggest he buys an original CD and use that one instead. Sadly, we don't support piracy or any other illegal activity that can hurt the producing company and ultimately, him as the customer!
Sorry we can't do anything to help him at this point!
