Hi All I thank you very much for your ideas. I just bit curious on the numbers of labors you put to different resources and the resources you might have after classic, as they vary against different opponents.
By hitting the upgrade button to classic at Mid map I usually have 8-9 fishing boats; about 9-10 on wood, 4-5 on gold, 4 on land food, 1 praying. The time to create all these labors will be about 4:30- 5:00 miuntes depends on how good you are and luck (distance of wood, distance of fishing point to your docks, how many pigs you gathered)
During upgrade I research the tech that increase wood and gold gathering rate (sry i forget their names). If food enough i reaserach the Erbus tech(150 food pls 5 favor thing). so by reaching classic my resources will be around 300 food, 300-400 wood (if you stop making fishing ship during the upgrade), usually 300 gold or less (as you start gathering gold really late. All these are rough figures but 10% more or less. so with these resources you may have less choice for strategies. what we discussed before shows we shall have some early sea army to defend our harbor. so wood level will drop sharply which means you cant build more tcs. at the mean time you will prefer to have some land army as well, so gold is another problem.
On your enemy side, as ISIS, she would start building Armoy (cost NO wood) and train a few number of arrow ships. You can take out some of his fishing operations by killing some of his fishing boats but at the same time you are losing some of yours as well. But dont expect you can stop her FH by this cause she will save a lot amount of wood on building, which means she could put more labors on food then you do.
As Zeus, he might emphasses on gold and prey with non stopping finishing food income by enforcing peace power. after FH he will move some of the labor from wood to good and prey to train 4-5 syalla (sry for spelling) with arrow ships following. you are lucky enough at this stage to have a number of arrow ships plus some hammer ships (if you go FH too and that's the only way i know to defend your sea territory). On the land his army is even stronger with 2-3 dino + 7-8 hoplites and hero. He will bolt your hero if you have one or myth unit and start to kill your wood collectors and take down houses.
By my experience working as Hades will usually take more time than other gods to build an advantage and in sea map you are even slower.
