Thor: I like his versatility, due to cheap and efficient dwarves and his armory. One of the things I need to improve most is my resource management, and Thor makes it easier with dwarves that gather food normally. However, Thor doesn't really have any good military unit bonuses.
Odin: I'm sure most will disagree. I like his ravens and good hill fort units (which I use a lot). Plus his hunting bonus is nice.
Zeus: I don't play Greek much, and I just like the power of Greek units. Although I like to use archers, Hades doesn't appeal to me as much and I like Zeus' hoplites more. I dunno, I'm just interested in Greek.
Isis: ...'nuff said. Fast heroic ftw. However, although I might do better as Isis, I find Eggy a bit repetitive for some reason.
Gaia: I like her eco, and the evil possibilities of gaia forests. However I dislike the simplicity of the attie eco.
So, yeah, those are the Gods that interest me. My play style is to either:
- put constant pressure on the enemy in classical, raiding and attacking. If it fails or stalemates, jump to heroic
- build enough defense to survive, going for an early heroic age, optionally capturing several TCs, and pumping heroic units
I guess it's basically a mix of either rushing or booming. That's why I need a versatile God, one where either of those strats are possible.
Thanks for the help!
