The_Noob_Owner, you are pretty new to this forum, and as I suspect, to the game as well. Otherwise you would know that ES has a long tradition of spreading out lies and false promises just like politicians do so people remain happy while ES is doing nothing.
Compare the matchmaking system of AoM, which often hangs during the search without giving you a notice (so you need to either wait very long or relog on to ESO) to Blizzard's Battle.net, and you will see a huge difference. Battle.net has been functioning way more reliable before ESO even existed, and Blizzard's games have been patched with much greater care. Of course setting up an online system like Battle.net or ESO is a challenge, and child diseases are to be expected, but Blizzard worked on them and fixed them, while ES did not care. One day ES decided to end patch support for AoM for good, although the game was still full of obvious bugs, cheats, and imbalances, because they decided that there was no more money in it for them when they further patched the game, although the effort would have been minimal. They compensated with spreading more lies and false promises, and the crowd, foolish as usual, cheered at them. Meanwhile, I was amazed when reading Blizzard's list of fixed bugs in Starcraft, because some of them required so rare and special preconditions that I never ever encountered them in my thousands of games and probably would never have - but Blizzard fixed them anyway!
And now ES sets up a new set of servers for ESO and does a beta test, which is basically a good thing, but they run the beta in a manner that the statistics system of the regular servers is inoperative while the beta lasts. Now that is unprofessional! What is the point in pre-testing a new version if the released version is impaired by the test? Under these circumstances, they could have done without the test and replaced the old servers with the new ones right away. Things cannot get any worse than ESO not working properly, and not working properly is what it was while they conducted their test. ES apparently consists of money-greedy hackers and hobby networkers. They are neither committed to their community nor display a professional stance when it comes to technical issues. And for a comparison, Blizzard has shown that it can be done way better. So it is you who should better shut up until you know what this is all about.
