I recon yes. I mean it's not the best expansion ever divised, and it was rushed leaving alot to be desired with the quality. But overall, in a game with very little variety, a little more is certainly a good thing. And the Atlanteans are kinda fun to play and they have a few cool MUs

IMO - Yes and Yes. If you like AoM, you'll like AoT.

FAILURE is not an option, it comes bundled with the software.
The graduate with a science degree asks, "Why does it work ?"
The graduate with an engineering degree asks, "How does it work ?"
The graduate with an accounting degree asks, "How much will it cost ?"
The graduate with an arts degree asks, "Do you want fries with that ?"

TT is a great improvement. Titans are a matter of taste, and the Atlantean race is arguable because a little op, but the other improvements of the game alone justify the upgrade (more maps, more upgrades for all civs, some balance fixes like RC getting bonus vs siege).

Are there still people who just play the normal AoM without the titans? I can't afford to get it, so will I still be able to find opponents on the net?

If you could afford a computer that can play it, and the original game, which was way more expensive, then the comparably cheap expansion should not be a problem.

Quoted from Artemis1000:

I can't afford to get it, so will I still be able to find opponents on the net?

If you already have the game, why don't you just try instead of asking? And if not, why don't you get the gold edition that includes the expansion?

Artemis, I play normal AoM all the time. There are usually around 1,500 people on at a time, and you'll almost always find an opponent.
