I recently went on vacation for a week and needless to say ....there was no age playing.
Ive never gotten as good as i wanted to be with the game. Im announcing my retirement from the game and i wanna thank all the players and moderation of the forums for helping me out.
Ill probably come back in a couple mouths so you wont call it a retirement maybe just a break.

the only way you can quit AoT is if you get addicted to another game
I've found that hard to do, find another game as addicting as AoM/AoT!
FAILURE is not an option, it comes bundled with the software. The graduate with a science degree asks, "Why does it work ?" The graduate with an engineering degree asks, "How does it work ?" The graduate with an accounting degree asks, "How much will it cost ?" The graduate with an arts degree asks, "Do you want fries with that ?" Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people.

I did. It was Runescape (lol) but it only broke my addiction for 4 months
Never play runescape. Ever. It's boring AND addicting!
Plus, playing runescape will never EVER help you in real life, while AoM MIGHT help a little considering you have to think fast and make decisions quickly for it. Thinking fast is good.

Runescape was alright, but not any more. And runescape did have some use.. I learnt a bit about how steel is made and stuff =P
Suprisingly, I have learnt a few things from Runescape, but very very few.

yes, of course there are a couple things, like how steel has iron in it and bronze is made from tin and copper. But that's not really going to help you in life, because you'll probably learn that in science anyway. Or, if you're not in school, it probably won't matter since you won't be tested on it ever.
Trust me, I've played for a total of almost 2 years. I blame my internet for not letting me connect to Age of Empires II games online anymore.
