Most likely effective against: Norse, Attie, Greek
Archaic -> Hit the nearest huntables with a granary, your pharoah, and your villes while exploring with your hyena -> Classical Start pumping out villes again: get enough on food to sustain a constant flow of villagers, then balance the rest out on wood and gold to sustain slinger spam-remember to research econ techs when you can. Send your anubite, hyenas, and priest to protect your forward villager and hunt the gazelles. Upgrade your slingers with around 5 of them, and start harassing his villagers. If he sends units after you, cast plague of serpents around your barracks and retreat, then pound his units with slingers and serpents and if he's in classical with an MU use the priest to your advantage. Build a 3rd barracks quickly, and constantly watch for any unharrassed villes with your hyenas. I'm a poor microer so I tend to set a 5-6 slingers near a group of villes and stick them on stand ground so they don't wander into TC fire. Don't let any villagers escape to scout - stick obleisks up around nearby gold mines etc. If there's available fishing you should grab it quickly after you have a sizable army - your wood supply should be quite significant. Don't let your econ go slack: to counter your slingers your opponent needs to spend food, food, and more food (and you can counter infantry or cavalry with some cheap spearmen or axemen) You'll get to heroic much faster even if you have a poor food supply. Notes: There was probably something i forgot to say... ask questions if you don't understand something. I fine-tuned this strat against a titan computer... against humans you can probably take a little more time getting to classical. And again... any feedback or constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.
