just played 2 games, lost both.
1st game, played against loki rush, lost.
I tried massing TA going more wood/gold heavy and he still destroyed me as if it were no trouble at all.
2nd game, most lame isis on earth.
didn't fh, but did a semi-fh with about 12 axeman (medium upgraded) as soon as he upped, made CA and massed them (with 4 elephants) came in, his axeman ripped up my ulfs/hersirs, his elephants took my RC out (THEY WOULD NOT LISTEN AND CONTINUED FIGHTING THEM EVEN THOUGH I RIGHT CLICKED THE ARCHERS REPEATEDLY) had his starting priest and pharoah shoot my valkyries, and after my army was gone completely and i was depending on the ones that were being autoqued to simply hold him off a little bit longer, A/E and i was done..
his micro was off the charts amazing, his strategy seemed strange but was still great...
neither of these, were i able to counter, nor do i know how to counter hypothetically...
any help vs. loki rush, and isis fh. (including the way to take axeman down)

and 12 axemen should mean about a 9:30ish heroic time. Anything after that means he didn't manage eco properly and is therefore 1700-. He made axemen becuase he expected a rush in case you didn't realise that yet. And massed CA+ elephant is perfectly normal for isis. isis isnt lame in heroic, its when they hit mythic and aq mercs from all tcs that it is lame.
tbh, thor has the least problems vs isis because you can strangle them so easily and take 100% map control.

i have so many questions...
hersirs vs hersirs that spawn MU = hersirs that spawn MU win right...
even with forsetti, i still think you are at a disadvantage.
once again, upping towers seems like it won't quite work because of undermine, i like the wall idea, but honestly, a wall doesn't exactly hold them out.. they undermine it, attack the towers, and since you aren't in heroic, there is no boiling oil.. TA are only decent against Hersirs somehow, they don't seem to get near the multiplier they get on other TA or on Ulfs or Husks... on hersirs it seems a much less significant change, due to me trying with mass TA and realizing it sucked...
there is no heimdall for thor, so towers/walls seems almost out of the question..
taking a 2nd tc maybe behind doesn't seem viable due to the fact that it just buys you enough time to maybe make it to heroic, but with what left... maybe very little alive at this time.
FW is strong, but you would most likely need to use RC in combination with it, as the ulfs would still be destroyed by MU, even though their attack is nice, their life is still an utter disgrace.
securing gold mines is even harder as you are so busy trying to NOT LOSE THE TC that anything out of your small area (which you are whether you like it or not being penned into like a small animal) seems near impossible.
the MU spawn is what of course makes this so hard, and the simple fact that MU do so much damage to human units, that even if you can start to take out the heroes, well that wasn't the issue... trolls are extremely deadly, and i find my enemy somehow gets like 4 einherjar, 5 trolls, and a valkyrie... and making hersirs doesnt work because 3 hersir vs 15 hersir... you can tell where im going with that..
spawning TA doesn't work because 3 trolls attack it and it dies... i believe its 1 shot from 3 trolls? idk its something like that...
please keep the ideas coming though, i am trying these out to see if they work.

I'll repeat an interesting bit of advice DaP stated. Hersirs summon myth units based on the amount of damage they do, so if you get armory ups you should go for hack armor, because then the enemy Loki won't summon as many mythies. I'll also give you a little piece of advice. Making a Loki player fight in TC or tower fire does more damage than you would think if you micro it properly. Just get TA and hersirs and concentrate all of your power on killing the enemy TA. And while free myth unit summoning is great, it's really only a big problem if your opponent gets lucky and gets 2 summoned eins. If that's the case I would resign. I don't think I've lost a game where my first two summons were einherjars. 3 free eins+ 6 hersirss+ a few TA+ undermine= TC down in 6 minutes. God I love Loki

Despite all of the advice from other players, I'd still go for an earlier classical time than Loki, and start ulf flooding his FB.....
As I start playing Thor I am having problems with Loki too, still, I'd rather try to flood his FB with quick training ulfs earlier than he can do anything than try to fight back his rush once it has started and gained force...

to DaP: most of the quotes you grabbed from me were me telling the other people their ideas wouldn't work, when you quoted em it made it appear as though they were my ideas...
that is an incorrect assumption.
