On the original box there is a picture of three gods: Zeus, Thor, and an unnamed Egyption god. Does anyone know who this unnamed person is?

I'm pretty sure it's Anubis, without checking the box.

I think it's meant to be Set because they're all major Gods. But it looks like Anubis because nobody really knows WHAT Set actually is : )

I believe it is Set, as the other two gods shown are Major gods (not merely minor gods in the game) and Set is often depicted as having a canine-like body or just a head of a Jackal.

This is Set, all you had to do was a simple Google search.
Anubis is on the cover.

I never really thought about it. But yeah, I suppose it's Anubis. The jackal-like features give it away.

Set can be often drawn with a jackal head, same as anubis.

I would think it is Anubis, Set is an aardvark. And Anubis is a jackel.

u guys arent really getting it that these things don't exist. its like the dinosaurs, they couldve been depicted as anything. remember, gods can take different forms, especially a sneaky one, like set. but, IMO, it is anubis because, in game, the anubis drawing look more like that than the drawing of set.......

There is only one God, but you are right, they could take any form, I think that Set was depicted as an aardvark though. And Anubis was depicted as a jackel. And Bast was depicted as a cat, ect.

And Anubis has the same crescent-shaped blade that he wields in-game.

You are all wrong. It is a mercenary.

Dinosaur depictions are based on uncovered fossils. These are based on writings from the ancient world. They couldn't have been "anything". It's clearly Anubis - maybe he was originally a Major God, or perhaps they didn't like the look of it with Set, Ra or Isis in the picture. Who knows.

Actually mercenary.

A mercenary is someone who kills/protects/robs etc etc for someone, in exchange of money.

In AoM mercenary are special troops built by the Egypcian TC that last limited time and are restricted to 20 (8 cavalry + 12 normal) at a time. Medjay improves their lifespan.

Actually they reckon Set is a Salawa. A desert dog with an odd shaped face. Nobody's seen one to document it, but several Egyptian villages claim their sheep have been harassed by them.

It's probably a myth unit. I still think that Set was depicted as an aardvark.

Myth unit? I don't think you get "myth units" in real life.

No myth units! Than why is there a giant with one eye looking at me throw the window!

Seriously though, I don't think that they would exist since no one has documented them.

I'd say it's Anubis. Only 1 known Egyptian God is said to have a Jackal Head.
