I don't even know why I am doing this, mabye I'm just crazy! Probably no one will read this but me. Anyway... I will deal mainly with the stories from the campain. Arkantos is a fictional character, hey, all of them are fictional, but Arkantos is not in Greek mythology. Hey, the entire plot of the campain, Gargarensis and Arkantos, and Posedion, is not in mythology.
Anyway, Troy. Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite were arguing about who was the pretiest, and when godesses argue, it is not pretty for humans. Anyway, they decided to let a mortal judge who was the prettiest. They chose Paris, who was prince of Troy. Each of them promised one thing to Paris if he chose her. Athena promised ultimate wisdom and great luck in battle, Hera promised ultimate power, and all of Asia, and Aphroditie promised the most beutiful woman on Earth, namely Helen. Of course, he had to pick Aphroditie. Aphroditie helped him kidnap Helen and made her fall for Paris. This caused the Trojon War. Menelaus, Helen's husband, set out to destroy Troy and bring her home. Achilles, Ajax, and Agamenmon were some of the people in this fight. After months of seige, they could not break through. They built the Trojan Horse, and put all of their warriors in it. They completly abandoned their camp, and rolled the Horse in front of the gate. The Trojans thought that it was a gift, so they rolled it in. At night when everyone had celebrated the victory of Troy, the warriors came out of the Horse, and slaughtered Troy's soldiers. They found Helen and brought her home.
Next, Osiris. Osiris was the husband of Isis. Set was Osiris's rivial and long time enemey. Set came up with a plan to kill Osiris. He made a coffin about the size of Osiris, and held a party. About midway through the party, he challenged anyone to fit into the coffin. Osiris, being the adventurous god that he was, decided to try. When Osiris got in, Set cut the box up into pieces and scattered them across the Earth. Isis and her son Horus found all of the pieces, but Osiris could not come back to the Earth. He had died, and so he became ruler of the underworld. Horus took revenge for his fathers death, and killed Set.
Next, Thor, Loki, Nidhogg, and Ragnarock. Thor was the son of Odin. Odin was the chief of the Aseir gods. The Aseir was the name of the Norses gods. Thor had a giant hammer, with which he would crush Jotuns. When Odin was walking about, he noticed a clever jotun named Loki. He became blood brothers with Odin, and became an Aseir. With his jotun wife he had three children: Hel, who became ruler of the underworld, Fenris, a giant wolf, and Jormund, and giant snake. The Aseir eventually bound Fenris and Jormund, but not without cost. Tyr, one of Odin's sons, got his hand bitten off. Loki became worse and worse, eventually killing Baldar. The Aseir punished him by making a snake drip posin on him slowly. His jotun wife kept the posin from hitting him by holding a cup over his face. Nidhogg was the dragon that sat at the roots of the world tree, and nibbled at it. This tree was the tree that connected all of the worlds. When he finally destroyed it, Ragnarok came. Fenris, Jormund, jotuns, trolls, and even Loki fought against the Aseir. Eventually all died except two humans. These two humans repopulated the world, and told stories of the Asier and jotuns and dwarves ect.
Edit:
Greek beginning myth:
Chaos was the first being. From him came the world. Gaia, who was the world, was the second being. She created Ouranos, the sky, and mated with him. From Gaia and Ouranos came the titans. The titans were children of Gaia and were the following: Thia, Rhea, Themis, Mnemosyne, Phoebe, Hectate, Tethys, Oceanus, Kronos, Coeus, Crius, Hyperion, Iapetus, Atlas, and Menoetius. Kronos killed his own father, and threw him into the sea. Out from Ouranos's body came Aphroditie, but that's another myth.
Kronos and Rhea married. One day Kronos went to an oracle and asked the oracle how he would die.The oracle told him that one of his children would kill him. This made him very mad, and every time he had a child, he would eat the child. He had gobbled up Hades, Poseidon, Hera, Hesta, and Demetier. Well Rhea became very upset, so the next child that she had, she had him in secret, and named him Zeus. She presented a rock to Kronos, and told him that it was their son. He quickly devoured it. Rhea gave Zeus to some humans to raise until he grew up.
When Zeus grew up, he came to his father. Kronos did not recognize him, and invited him in as a traveler. Together with Rhea, Zeus schemed to get his siblings back. They put stuff in Kronos's drink, and Kronos belched all of Zeus's siblings up.
There was a great war between the titans and the Olympians (greek gods and goddesses).
The Olympians: Zeus, Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, the Hecatonchires, the Gigantes (hurled 100 stones at a time at the Titans), and the Cyclopse (crafted lightning bolts for Zeus).
The Titans: Kronos, Coeus, Crius, Hyperion, Iapetus, Atlas, and Menoetius
The Titans that didn't fight: Thia, Rhea, Themis, Mnemosyne, Phoebe, Hectate, Tethys, and Oceanus.
After a decade of war, the Olympians won, and imprisoned the titans in Tartarus.
Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades, being brothers, divided the world up for themselves. Zeus, since he was the one who deafeted Kronos and saved his siblings, got the sky. Poseidon got the sea, and Hades, not very happy about it, got the underworld.
