Many people say that classical eggy units are garbage. But they are hard counters, which means with micro are uberly awesome. Everyone says that Greek is OP or Norse classical war is uber but really when you look closer, Hard counters are more powerful in classical, like what the atlantean and egyptian have. It's unbeliveable how many people dont use hard eggy counters like a few axemen and such in their heroic army.
Just my two cents.

I really like Camels.
I still have to say that Eggy Classical units are still the worst.

Axemen are by far the strongest barracks unit until mythic. At which point spearmen under Horus I believe are better(though axemen can now be used as siege). What makes them good are their fast speed, training time, cheap cost and multipliers. What makes them inferior are that they are pop inefficient and suck at taking down buildings. So they are good at early defense, and awesome when axemen are used in conjunction with elephants, but by themselves are not very good(unless, as previously stated, you have Horus)

Rax units own, but you have to micro them so most players don't bother. Eles+ CA take almost zero micro so they make them.
A good player with Rax units can win any game without ever making a migdol unit.
