Hi everyone, I recently bought another copy of Age of Mythology after I stopped playing a couple years back. I really enjoyed the game, easily in my top 5 games ever, and I never really got to play online. Now, I have the chance to, is the online community dead? Or are a good amount of games still being played?

U have not experienced the best of AOM until u play online.
The community is still active, the average player I c online would be 1500...
BTw, I will stop playing Aom during school time and hope to find still active online players by the next vacations (that would be Crhistmas)...

1500 people online? That's pretty good. Well actually I played online a couple of times. I lost a bit at first then I started winning, but then the internet situation went kaputz. poseidon ftw

Ahhh this is bs. I got the BFK67 cd key. -_- I wouldn't be able to play online until later in the month, but still. Now I have to try and get in touch with a friend who I lent my original copy to, to see if he still has the case with the cd key.

Not to defend Zeus, but....well yes, defending Zeus. Zeus is very hard to play. As with all Greek, their units train very slowly and thus are susceptible to various rushes.(ON higher level of gameplay. 1700- Zeus appears to be incredibly easy)
Another thread you posted said that Zeus pwns atties, which is false. Using MU in your army too early against atlantean will hurt you economically more than him because he has 3x Valor.
Unless you have a tc advantage. Myth Units only come into play lategame, where the atlantean has a chance to stop them with economy.
Zeus really has no "niche" because Attie>Greek on a higher level. This is what makes him easy to pick up, very hard to master/perfect.

No, I've never heard of any game that ties your cd-key to an IP. That would be kind of ridiculous.

OMJ lightmara ive heard u say atlantean is OP Egypt is OP and Zues is OP maybe there not OP and poseidon is UP.
I think most of the civs are pretty balanced out except for egjypt
btw I like spelling Zues like this :P
