Ok, can Isis ever beat Thor (assuming both players are about the same level of skill)? I am about 1620, thought I was playing a good game aginst a 1650 player, "Isis style" - Fast Heroic in 7 minutes or so, A/E in his economy, got two fortresses and the second gold mine, even got a second TC and raided a bit with chariots (keeping camels to defend). Although he was attacking constantly with horses during all the above he never did a lot of damage to my eco as I had camels to defend (perhaps more than I should). But then he goes to Mythic and with rag+ flaming weapons and it is gg... I saw it coming but never had enough time to get enough axemen to counter that... it seems so easy for Thor against Isis, just raid, raid and raid some more while expanding your eco and if the Isis player is good enough to put up a fight and gets gold mines and a second TC, then just get serious (as Thor): go rag/FW and it is all over...
So, if Isis is playing Thor and both are about the same level of skill... do we just resign as Isis ? :-)
Any help, recs, etc are appreciated...

Another problem is that sometimes the Thor player may go for Ragnorok but build a titan instead of attacking,
so they raid you during most of the game, get the favor they need for the titan and then go rag.
Since most of my obelisks are destoryed, I can't scout well enough to know what he is planning (you assume he will attack you with rag/FW)... so if I build fortresses, towers, axemen, etc, he may change plans (he can scout me and see all the fortresses)and build a titan and then attack (and his titan gate may be protected by towers and fortresses, not to mention rag heroes. I just find myself not knowing what to do, perhaps the only solution is to counter attack heavily in heroic like someone suggested, with a strong trade route, even if that means taking chances... since once they hit mythic as thor it seems very difficult? It is amazing how flexible Thor can be.

Thanks ATB_HellsRavage, that sounds like an interesting strat. In this strat you still go Bast instead of anubis, aiming for a/e at a later time, right? A few times against greeks I have tried a classical attack (like a few old experts used to, like josey_wales) with Anubis and that worked pretty well, though a/e is always tempting and I almost always go bast/nephtys.
Would you have any recs?
Thanks again

yeah, in this match up get a trade route early.
spam miggy ,towers, mercs, axe. just make sure that he is still hacking away at your forward tc and forward miggys, when fw ends. Then he will be forced to hack at your main tc and defenses with just rags alone.
building spam> rags
just make sure that you have picked up the "arctichets" tech.
