Ok, I think this is going to be a heated topic but wanted to hear opinions. Lately, many discussions have been about how this god is lame and overpowered but that other god is underpowered... normally, Atlanteans (except perhaps for Gaia) and Isis are supposed to be lame and overpowered, for example.
However, if you look at the current top 25 players, we see a different story. First of, I am assuming that most of these players are not loyal to a civilization nor do they care about the question "to lame or not to lame". They care about winning and being top 15, top 10, etc... well... if you check the to 10 list, you will see:
2 Isis (number 1 and number 10)
1 Hades (number 2)
3 Thors (number 3, 4 and 6)
3 Zeus (number 5, 8 and 9)
1 Loki (number 7)
In other words, we can see that, although the number 1 player uses Isis, Thor and Zeus appear three times, making them appear more consistent and powerful gods (note that top 3 and 4 are Thors - however these gods are usually not considered overpowered or lame!).
Also interesting that we see no atlanteants in top ten (aren't they supposed to be better?) Again, I am assuming that top players, because of their knowledge of the game and desire to win and be top 10, will choose the best god (or what they believe to be the best god). Even in the top 25, we only see 3 atties...here is the link that shows all that:

So saying a god is overpowered does not seem to be accurate as a true statement for all levels (it may well be true for certain ratings like mine, 1610 or so for example - atties and Isis do seem easier to play than, for example, Thor). Would like to hear what you think.
