I would like to see better unit AI, mainly in hand to hand combat. For example, when the raw material of the battle commences: point blank hand to hand, I think the AI should choose units better, if an enemy unit is being attacked by a superior ally, it will not fight that enemy. However, if a superior enemy is fighting an ally, the unit will help him out. Conversly, if a unit is severely outnumbered, a fellow unit will help it out. Also, if a superior bowmen is being attacked by an inferior infantryman, the inferior unit's allies won't help because the archer can't shoot him point blank. Also, enemy units will try as hard as possible to kill the hero, and the hero's allies will protect him more. That would be really cool, I hate it when I tell my units to attack and they all attack 1 unit.

It could be toggle-able, like better pathing was in AOE
