pcgamer summed it all up pretty well, i only like to add some crenellated towers at your outside gold along your mig.
majors advice is bad imho:
spirit of maat is a waste of favor (better use the favor for double mig at outside gold/bast eco techs/funeral rites/...)
and spears are a waste of food (better use the food on techs/ellies)
maybe a good idea is to post a rec of you losing vs a thor (semi-)fh, so people can point out your mistakes

I speak as a ~1720 Isis player.
Don't bother with the crappy spears at all. They don't even beat RC 1vs1. GL against jarls.
Anyway, if you feel you're in good shape for getting 2nd gold without A/E , make two monuments before advancing and go Hathor. Make two miggys and a TC near some gold (prosperity will get you enough golf) along with fragments of walls/gates and a siege work to abuse pathing of norse melee army. If possible, get crennelations.
Train phants from one miggy, CA from the other and petsuchos+priests from your temple. Raid him with your roc/pets. If you can find his hunting group, then locust it to halt his jarl/hersir production.
If he attacks your camp, keep the roc near your pets if he closes in with hersir/jarl and just move them around. Micro CA in and out of miggys and just force him attack your phants or buildings. Micro your CA to attack his hersir first hand, focus pets and priests to boars and just let your phant meatwall hit whatever they like.

Spear + CA works veryl well, on big maps just turtle and boom as if you are ein irl tortoise and ignore all fighting.

if you cant win this matchup, don't play isis is the advice everything is thinking, but being too polite to type out.
seriously. as your going classic get as many priests out as possible then simply push the thor player off hunt and you;ve already won.

Herisr do the job better vs myths, but thats pretty much all there good for. They can fight normal infantry units well though. Like Hoplites or Spear men, murms, ulfs. Suck vs everything else.
Jarls are good because they can kill both myth and archer effectively, in large groups.
