I apologise if this has been discussed before recently.
I've been playing quite a bit of Poseidon lately as a change from the other greeks and I'm quite enjoying it. I've been wondering if Aphrodite is a valid choice as Poseidon?
I advance through her pretty much 80% of the time as Hades as her building speed bonuses complement Hades' building HP and attack bonus nicely, could this also be applied to Poseidons militia bonus? (Obviously I don't see losing buildings as an advantage but it's a nice thing to have when you DO lose a building), or is Dionysus a crucial choice due to his Bacchanalia and Thracian Horses?
Also is Aphrodite recommended against archer based civs such as Hades and Epyptians in general due to Golden Apples allowing quite an easy flow of Nemean Rex?
This could apply to Egypt especially due to Nemean Rex having a nice 80% piece armour, and in heroic you'll usually be facing chariots and priests?
Just like to hear some feedback, thanks for all the responses.
