So I had an idea, I wanted to get some feedback before getting it running entirely.
The basic concept is pretty simple. Basically it would be a competition between players on Age of Mythology. Each match would be placed in a real place on a real world map, and as players win they would conquer more of the world.
When players compete, whoever looses is forced to resign his plot of land to the conquering player, and the game would continue. I would regularly update the website to express the current state of conquest on the map.
So anyone with ESO and an internet connection could join in the campaign and try to conquer the entire world over a period of weeks, or even months. This would be funner and more exciting then simple matches with no real storyline. Also there would be different types of maps for different areas - for example, you might have a Supremacy Savannah map represent a plot in South Africa, but you might also be able to use a Deathmatch Savannah map as well, depending on the state of the 'world' economy.
If a player wants to join the game he will have to fight 1v1 against local natives, aka AI/Comps, if there are still any plots of unstaked land open for claiming. From there he/she can begin to try and invade neighboring countries.
I know the thought isn't very well laid out yet, but I'm sure I can make the rules and concept clearer as I work on it. What I'm mainly curious about is whether or not any of you guys would be interested in this World Conquest game?
