Not going to bother to make a really construcive post about this matter when the title says it all.
It's been bugging me, and alot of other forumers for a while now. Nobody's gaining on it, and it's causing alot of confusion and hate in threads.
There's really only a need for it under the General, Strategy & DM Discussions in my oppinion.
So:
Age of Mythology Heaven » Forums » General, Strategy & DM Discussions » AoM
Age of Mythology Heaven » Forums » General, Strategy & DM Discussions » AoT
Or something similar would solve this.
ps. Might be the wrong place to post, but it's really only relevant for the posters around here anyway.

Was just thinking of this while making my previous post but I figured AoMH was too outdated to ever mess with things like this.
Anyways, my two cents:
Age of Mythology Heaven » Forums » General Discussions » AoM Strategy
Age of Mythology Heaven » Forums » General Discussions » AoM Strategy » DM
Age of Mythology Heaven » Forums » General Discussions » AoT Strategy
Age of Mythology Heaven » Forums » General Discussions » AoT Strategy » DM
General discussions has its own larger sub-forum and within General discussions there are the two sub-forums for AoM and AoT Strategy as these are the only differential points anyways. Within each sum-forum for AoM/AoT is another sub-forum for DM. However, we can probably scrap the idea about DM being a sub-forum as it's so rarely talked about anyways.
The only downside of pulling strategy outside of the larger "General Discussions" sub-forum is perhaps decreased activity. Aside from that, I'm all for it!

Quoted from Husker:
Good idea
No. Barely any people post in this forum as it is - that's why GD & DM were combined in the first place.
Take my love, take my land, take me where I cannot stand. I don't care, I'm still free, you can't take the sky from me. Take me out to the black, tell them I ain't comin' back. Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me. There's no place I can be, since I found Serenity. But you can't take the sky from me...

And why I retracted idea of splitting up DM into sub-forums. I still feel AoM and AoT strategy should be separate though as most posts would still go in the main "discussion" part while only topics pertaining to strategy would go into the sub-forums.
Why not have a place on your profile that allows you to select AoM or TT that then shows up next to your name?
Like for me it will say:
Husker Mortal Location: AoM
And for Martel it will say:
Mr Martel Mortal AoT
Maybe this will help with confusion.

DQ is right. This would've been a good idea awhile ago when people actually posted. Search the strategy forum. That used to exist but it doesn't because that is now incorporated in this one.

Husker's idea is actually quite good but I still doubt it would help much - playing TT predominantly doesn't stop someone from talking about AoM.
Take my love, take my land, take me where I cannot stand. I don't care, I'm still free, you can't take the sky from me. Take me out to the black, tell them I ain't comin' back. Why don't you guys add something like a Tag in your Thread names like: [AoM} Isis vs Zeus
yeah AoT is actually quite different from AoM. If anyone is talking about aom they really need to specify because some strats cannot be done in aom and some like a 2 tc classical cannot even be done at all.

Because TT is by far the most popular of the two games, obviously. Probably around 90% of strategy topics are about TT.

Game type (AoM or AoT) could be an obligatory dropdown that you need to set whenever you create a new thread. It would then be obvious to everyone what the thread is about, and anyone posting vanilla arguing in a TT thread (without explicitly pointing this out) would be an official fool.
