How to change the gods to make the game more fun and balanced?
But before doing that here are some features a well designed civilization should have:
Versatility: a god needs to have multiple viable strats. (like Zeus, Set)
No single OP strat: each strat should only works in some situations, and not the others. (Isis FH/phants/mercs works in majority of the situations, therefore is boring.)
Diversity: each civilization should play differently of course.
No serious weakness: Gaia cannot counter MU, therefore is too hard to play. Isis and Set must choose Neph to counter MU.
Micro requirement: If a civilization does not require a significant amount of micro, then it is boring. (Atlanteans).
so, how to make the gods more fun to play?
