I've been playing AoM alot recently... no, make that a whole lot... no, lets just say I've been playing aom waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much recently, and have officially obtained AoM fever. This is how bad it was. So, it was something o'clock at night... anyway it was late at night, but not midnight yet. Like always, even though I knew I had s*** to do the next day and I couldn't stay up, what did I do? I did anyway... like every night. As usual, I stayed up until... what was it... 12:50 something? Now you're probably saying to yourself "pffff that's not late." For some reason I felt a little extra tired, as if my body was working over time. I could feel (almost subconciously) myself getting a chill ever so slowly, but now I didn't really care did I. Keep in mind I go to a disgusting public school and wake up at 6:15 to go there. So back to the chill thing. Sure, I could slowly feel myself getting sick, but again, too engrossed in AoM to really notice that much. Before I talk about the "next morning", the whole sick crap started that "night". Not only was my brain going nonstop and having that feeling of trying to figure out the impossible puzzle, but it seemed like most of my thoughts were based on my AoM game. Lets just say I was kinda still in the game. I had dreams of it, thoughts of it... it was like my brain relied on it. It was circling around and around my AoM game. But it wasn't just my AoM game, but AoM games in general. AoM was the subject basically. It felt horrible. Think of that impossible puzzle feeling except with AoM...... now that sucks. Yep so, the next day? High fever. I'm not sure if I may have still been recovering from a bad flu with bronchitis or not, or simply if another germ caught onto me and took over... but I killed myself/lowered my resistance. Wasn't just a fever either... sore throat, cough, stuffy nose, all that crap. As I speak now I still have this wretched fever. And now for the question... Has anyone else expirienced something like this? (btw, this story refers to eso)

It happened to me too but it's not related to AoM. Basically I think that when fever is getting worse you are sort of forced to think about something that has impressed or excited or obsessed you lately, in this case AoM. I must say it's not a great feeling, it makes you think you are going mad.
Hey there! You are not alone in this world who has that kind of AOM addiction. I have started to play AOM way back 5 years (then stopped) then just 2 and a half years ago--- it's when my addiction began! Since then I could not last a day without AOM! Even if I have errands for the day I still see to it that I have an alotted time for this game, even at least half an hour. For me, no matter what the circumstances may be, I'll do everything just to play this game. It's like AOM has been one of my bestfriends' in life...
I think my addiction is worse than yours... (By the way I always play offline) and this game helps me survive almost everyday as home alone... I am not saying that I am good in this game for the past years, but good or not, I just love this game!

^ Same things for me, except that I'm not as addicted, because AoM for me is a synonym of screenshots and work
By the way isn't MGS a car ? I saw it in my game Colin McRae Rally 04 (I was addicted to this game), which, unfortunatly, was recognized today as a virus by my AVG (it wasn't true !!!) and blocked the application, without any way to unblock it ! And the friend who lent me the game lives at a hundred kilometers from me, and no way to get it on internet...
THEYS SAID AOM WOULD MAKE YOU COOL.
Unfortunatly AoM is not like pepe.

Well, my nickname is "migs" and just decided to take the "i"away, which leaves "mgs", and I have a favorite game on the PS2 which is MGS (Metal Gear Solid) and 15's my favorite number... It's an interesting coincidence that taking a letter from my nickname makes up for a name of my other topmost favorite game... But I still love AOM over MGS...
By the way just my opinion you should replace your Anti Virus if you really want to play your game without any hassle. I'm using Avira...
