Do you guys know any kind of strategy that could penetrate "Cerberus" scenario on titan difficulty? The enemy AI attacks too early (I don't even have time to build walls) and it's too upgraded. I think those from ES forgot to actually test the scenario before they released it.

It'll be most of a year before my Let's Play gets to that mission, but I do indeed know a way to beat it.
It's actually not even that hard if you play it smart. Let me see if I can put together some screenshots to show the right way to do it and post that in a bit.

Sounds like you adapted properly to a different enemy troop combination, nicely done.
When I played it, the enemy used murmillos and hero arcuses, so chariot archers were definitely the way to go. I've seen them use turmas sometimes and other troops other times. Not really sure what causes the difference since they never seen to change mid-battle.
Even against turmas I would probably still consider chariot archers for several reasons though:
1) The enemy AI is not very smart about who they target. You can easily sponge the pitiful turma attacks with a hero instead of letting them be super-effective against the chariot archers.
2) Chariot archers outrange turmas and match their speed , so again you should be able to protect yourself.
3) A lot of fighting will be in a confined space, so large numbers of big melee units will be relatively difficult to control.
4) Chariot archers are much more use against the myth units.
5) Chariot archers train substantially faster, which is great for the crucial 2 minutes when you're trying to get an army fielded ASAP after which you'll be in the clear regardless of what troop tpyes you use.
6) On this mission, wood is by far the easiest resource to get huge amounts of. Spending more of your limited gold on camels sounds painful to me.
7) Without a pharaoh to empower and with zero initial farming upgrades and no gold to spare for making more farms anyway (and little other food around), it will take much longer to get a big enough food income to produce lots of camelry.

If you want the cheese the mission, which is one of the most difficult ones in the game, you can always just focus your effort on advancing to the mythic age.
After that, defend for a while, then pull all your villagers and troops to your allies base, then you build tons of walls, towers, and migdols. you can set up a market inside their base to trade with them, though you get little gold, you will get enough eventually.
Its so much easier to hold them off at one choke point than several, then you just build up slow but steady in your allies base, then roll over them with maxed elephants and priests.
GG, you have now turned one of the hardest missions in the game into a complete joke, though it takes a rather long time.

I'm not quite sure I understand your map because I virtually never see enemies attack into my main town directly as your map seems to suggest. There is the one air drop of course and once in a while a single myth unit gets bored and starts attacking the wall, but I never see an actual wave try to smash directly into the town.

Hmm, i never had any difficulty defending a choke point in my allies base. A double wall, 2 midgols and plenty of towers should do the trick, add a couple of catapults to hit fire siphons. Then just micro your heros around close to the towers and watch the enemies drop like flies.

Its nothing to be confused about, defending your base is very difficult and requires perfect micro and multitasking the first few minutes if you are to survive.
Yes, sometimes i have been able to hold the position long enough to get the advantage, but most likely i end up losing.
Its so much easier to just retreat to your allies base.

I think everyone has it's own method of surviving/combatting the enemy. I personally prefer Melth's solution.
