Here at the top of the page there is a unit that looks like a pharaoh with the head of Horus. It is the one we saw in the screenshot. I think is COULD be that all that have Horus as a god will have a pharaoh with the head of Horus.

Or it could be a whole new unit.

What do you think?

It's like watching a flock of clown-like apes trying to navigate a ship, even though the ship has in fact been stranded on some kind of reef for about 7 years and none of the apes have noticed it yet. -Drahnier on OD moderation.

I think it's Horus himself, as a scenario-editor unit, like Athena:
.
But the suggestion of Pharaoh changing his looks according to the diety is interesting .

Eh, if he had a couple of scimitars, it coulda been Horus' MU, the Avenger. Ah well, I'm sure I'll see a screenie with an Avenger in it soon enough... riiiiight, Archangel?

Technically, Pharoh IS Horus.

We've seen many screenies with the Avenger in Gamespot's Ra showcase. There's another screeny in better quality, I think in the AoMH screenshot gallery. www.gamespot.com

The true mystery to me is that 'Son of Osiris' is Horus. And Horus is the Avenger.

Gah.

On a final note, I don't think Egyptian priests ever wore headresses of any kind [I mean, like animal headresses] though I must check that.

Not to me it doesn't. Avengers don't shoot lightning.

TSD in the process of mumification priests wore headdresses of Anubis but I've never heard of anyone wearing a headdress of Horus.
I liked the idea of that being Osisi's MU and the lighing could be his special attack.
