The final choice for the Thor player comes in the Mythic Age. Actually, because Loki has a unique minor god all to his own, Odin and Thor both share the same choices upon advancing to the final age. (It's unusual for a major god such as Loki to have a unique minor god, but as with Zeus and Hera, it does occur, albeit infrequently.)
Was this already known?
I was under the impression that no two major gods would have the same choice of minor gods in any age.
If the gods were A, B and C for the Mythic age.
I thought the arrangement would be...
Thor can choose A or B.
Odin can choose A or C.
Loki can choose B or C.
The actual arrangement appears to be...
Thor can choose A or B.
Odin can choose A or B.
Loki can choose A or C.
This is because Loki has his own minor god (minor god C). The result is that all major gods can choose minor god A.
The situation would be the same for Zeus I guess. Any feedback would be helpful.
1. There are more than 3 minor gods available to the Norse in the Mythic Age
2. Loki doesn't get minor god A like Odin and Thor, but a minor god from an earlier age along with his unique minor god. (This seems unlikely though because the GP's and units granted by choosing minor gods are probably balanced based on the age in which they become available.)
